I have been home from my mission for almost 9 months... and I have had problems with my stomach ever since... ok well like since the beginning of my mission really! This is kinda a personal post with what might be TOO MUCH INFORMATION. {stop reading now if you feel uncomfortable with the subject}
So I will apologize now! I would like to start off with this lovely video.. thanks to my friend Caitlyn for showing it to me.. it made my day!!
Now that you have all watched this lovely video... I will explain! About a month ago I decided it was time to go to the doctor. There are times when my stomach just KILLS and I have a hard time keeping anything in me, and as we all learned from this lovely song... The answer is in your poo! I called a specialist and set up an appointment. {the morning I went to the doctor my amazing brother left me a note on the toilet paper in the bathroom.. he is sooo dang funny!!!} I went and she talked to me about all of the many different things that it could be like...
-A parasite
-I could be partially lactose intolerant
-Stress
-It could be from excersizing
I can't even remember everything that she said!
In the end she sent me to get a blood test and she also told me that she would need 3 stool samples. As the cute girl in the lab was telling me what I would need to do, I felt so embarrassed and humiliated! Talk about being humbled! I came home and that weekend we were taking a family trip down to St. George {and I wasn't about to take all of my supplies down there.} While I was down there I got strep and was put on an antibiotic, so those tests got put off. Well a couple weeks ago I finally got the courage to do it! I did my first stool sample and I have two more to go... I am suppose to go back on Thursday but I have these lovely tests to finish! Hopefully we will get it all figured out.. and until them... just remember that the answer is in your poo!

I am with you on this one Paige!! I have the SAME EXACT problems!! Except I can't poo... :( (TMI??) I hope that the doctor can get it figured out! Keep me updated! <3
YES. I'm glad you had the guts to post this. Sorry that your guts hate you though! All across the nation....
paige i went thru this in 9th grade!! they diagnosed me with ibs but we ended up getting this "bacteria" in a pill form and its actually the only thing after test after test that has ever helped me and still does. i rarely ever get sick anymore.. practically never! anyways, we should talk! i wish you the very best! i'm so sorry :( no fun at all.
